September 26, 2011- Wow, MARIPOLOOZA has come an gone! What a ride! Despite the drizzle in the morning, we all had a great time jammin’ out to the bands, visiting the vendors and bidding on the Silent Auction Items… and of course enjoying a slice or two of cake! We are excited find out the proceeds of the event. The current and future students of the Mariposa School for Children with Autism would like to thank those of you who attended MARIPOLOOZA and donated to The Mariposa School Scholarship Fund! And none of this would have been possible had it not been for all of the giving spirits behind our local businesses, organizations and volunteers. And also, a very special THANK YOU is extended to Emily Earle, Senior Event Coordinator of the festicause! We could not have done it without you, thank you!!! September 23, 2011- Well folks, the clock is ticking! In less than 24 hours, MARIPOLOOZA 2011 will finally be here! There has been concerns about the rain. YES YES YES, we are still ON! Koka Booth has a covered Crescent Deck and their stage is covered as well. So bring your rainboots and umbrellas and we’ll bring the fun! We’ll see you tomorrow at noon!
September 22, 2011- EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about MARIPOLOOZA in The Cary News and on Koka Booth Amphitheatre’s Events Page! We have gathered all of our awesome items for MARIPOLOOZA’s Silent Auction, so make sure you check out the Event Details page to find out more! We are still in need for volunteers. Support a great cause, make new friends and get a free MARIPOLOOZA t-shirt by giving your time this Saturday! Contact eearle@mariposaschool.org if you are interested. Also, tomorrow will be the last day to order your Picnic in the Park. Place your order by 5 PM and pick up your purchase at Koka Booth at the start of the festicause!
September 21, 2011- We are proud to announce that the lovely Miss Robin McDonald will be opening MARIPOLOOZA 2011 with the singing of the National Anthem. She will also lead the attendees of MARIPOLOOZA in a chorus of “Happy Birthday” in honor of the Mariposa School’s 10th Birthday!
September 20, 2011- We are excited to announce the voices of MARIPOLOOZA 2011! Melanie Sanders from NBC 17 will open the festival and serve as our Mistress of Ceremonies from 12 PM - 2 PM. Mark Stafford, Mariposa’s Executive Director, will follow up as the Master or Ceremonies from 2 PM - 4 PM. Afterward, WRAL’s Debra Morgan will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies from 4 PM - 6 PM. We are excited to have these members of our community celebrate and support the festicause!
September 19, 2011- We have had such a great response from the community! Thank you to all who are supporting MARIPOLOOZA 2011. Silent Auction Donations are being sorted through this week. Make sure to check back with us soon to see what will be up for grabs!

September 15, 2011- It’s almost here! MARIPOLOOZA is coming and it’s going to be BIG! FYI: Tomorrow will be the LAST DAY to turn in your Vendor, Sponsorship, and Silent Auction forms.
